Carriage Rates

Rates only apply to orders placed on our website.

€9.50 DELIVERY OFFER for all web orders

Orders placed online, will only be required to pay €9.50 DELIVERY to any address in Ireland! If the total weight of the items is less than the Delivery offer, the cheaper option will appy.

This offer applies to orders placed via our online 'webshop' only. Orders placed by phone, fax, email or post will be subject to our published carriage rates of €12 for Items over 3Kg to 30Kg.
Delivery to Ireland addresses only (Inc Nothern Ireland). Delivery addresses on the islands may be excluded from the offer.
Engines, Gearboxes, Bonnets and complete Type 2 front panels and other large items are excluded from this offer.

Carriage Rates Explained:

Standard:
Usually we aim for 2 to 5 days on orders received before 2pm but item can take 2 - 5 working days, though we will always despatch your goods as quickly as we can and your parts may arrive quicker than this in some instances, or may occasionally take a little longer.

Panels or Glass:
Some items require more expensive carriage to ensure they arrive in pristine condition or due to their size and weight - including panels, glass, axles, bumpers etc. Some glass items also require special packaging which will be automatically added to your order as a separate item if needed. Delivery is usually 2 - 7 working days for such items, though we will always despatch your goods as quickly as we can and your parts may arrive quicker than this in some instances, or may occasionally take a little longer.

Engine Etc.:
Engines, gearboxes, bonnets and some other items need specialist carriage due to their size/weight and additional packing requirements. Delivery is usually 5- 7 working days for such items, though we will always despatch your goods as quickly as we can and your parts may arrive quicker than this in some instances, or may occasionally take a little longer.

Orders placed by phone, fax, email or post will be subject to our published carriage rates of €12 for Items over 3.5Kg to 30Kg.

Orders placed under 1.1kg are sent by standard post at the rates above

For UK Orders placed by phone, fax, email or post in twill be subject to our published carriage rates of €22 for Items over 2Kg to 30Kg.

Orders placed under 0.5Kg are sent by standard post at the rates above in Zone 2

VW Spares Cancelation policy

If you require a web order to be cancelled, please phone VW Spares sales on 0866038449 as soon as possible after placing the order as orders are processed on a hourly basis. Received orders before 1.30pm will be sent on the same day. If the order has been placed in the morning, the order can only be cancelled before 1.30pm

Upon receipt of your order you have two working days to advise VW Spares of any damage or shortages of your goods.

If for any reason you have ordered the incorrect parts, we offer a 14 days (from delivery date) Credit or exchange policy, subject to the goods being returned in unused, perfect condition, with the original packaging still intact. Customers must meet the cost of return carriage on correctly supplied goods.

Any returns after 14 days are at our discretion and a 10% restocking fee may be charged. No returns will be accepted after 90 days. While VW Spares makes every effort to provide correct information and goods, it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure they are correct before fitting/use.

When returning goods, the buyer is responsible for the repackaging of the goods and they are in your care until they arrive at our warehouse, so please obtain proof of posting/delivery. VW Spares regrets that postage/packaging/insurance costs are non-refundable, unless goods received are faulty or received in error.

If you are unable to check the goods upon receipt, please note "NOT CHECKED" on the delivery papers before you sign for them. You then have two working days to check for damage/shortages, as stated above.
