Type 2 August 1967 to May 1979 Offside (right).

This German seal is Top Quality, has the correct moulding and the correct corners and made from the correct grade of softer rubber. These door seals fit perfectly and do not leak unlike cheaper options.

There are cheaper alternative qualities of door seal available, the cheapest Brazilian style are hard to fit, leak due to incorrect corners and moulding. The middle range seal is a good copy of the above seal but made of a much harder rubber and requires bedding in. See VWS2032
