Front engine tinware that sits above the gearbox bell housing.
Finished in good quality satin black paint
It is vital to have the correct tinware fitted to keep the air seal between the cool and hot zones on an Aircooled engine and prevent overheating. This piece of tinware was originally found in August '70 to July '71 Baywindow models but is required when fitting a twinport engine in place of a singleport in earlier models from 1968 with a removable rear valance. Fits up to Chassis 211 2300 000 Original engine code applications: AD 1600 TP 50hp (August 1970 to July 1971) AE 1600 TP 50hp (August 1970 to July 1971) AF 1600 TP 46hp M240 Low Octane (August 1970 to July 1971) AB 1300 TP 44hp M252 Italy (January 1971 to July 1971)
